Welcome to Reston Heights Dental

A family practice built on long-term care.

Dr. Kiumars Karbasi founded Reston Heights Dental on a philosophy centered on family values and lasting patient relationships. That intent shows up in the ordinary details: time to ask questions, clear explanations before anything begins, and a plan that accounts for where your teeth are headed in ten years, not only today.

We care for families across Reston and the surrounding community with modern techniques and technology, in a setting designed to make dentistry feel calm and unhurried.

Advanced Care & Technology

Modern tools,
used with judgment.

Technology earns its place here when it makes treatment more precise, more predictable or more comfortable. These are the areas Dr. Karbasi has pursued advanced training in.

  • Digital dentistry
    01

    Digital dentistry

Digital records, scans and planning replace guesswork and make the fit of what we place more predictable.

  • Laser dentistry
    02

    Laser dentistry

A gentler instrument for selected soft-tissue procedures, often with less sensitivity afterwards.

  • Implant dentistry
    03

    Implant dentistry

Planning, placement and the final restoration coordinated in one practice, with a periodontist in-house.

  • A patient holding a clear aligner
    04

    Invisalign

Aligner treatment mapped digitally, so you can see the intended sequence before starting.

  • Sedation dentistry
    05

    Sedation dentistry

Options for anxious patients, and for longer appointments where comfort decides the outcome.

  • Full-mouth reconstruction
    06

    Full-mouth reconstruction

Complex, whole-mouth cases staged into steps, with the bite planned as one system.

“A scanner or a laser does not make the diagnosis. It makes a good diagnosis easier to carry out, and it lets me show you exactly what I am seeing.”

Dr. Kiumars Karbasi

Reston Heights Dental

A main offering
Invisalign

Straighter teeth,
without brackets.

Clear aligners for adults and teens who would rather not wear brackets. Every case is planned digitally from a scan and treated here, start to retention.

Invisalign Gold Provider

Gold Provider, a ranking earned on case volume and experience.

01

Scan, not impressions

A digital scan of your teeth takes a few minutes and replaces the tray of putty.

02

See the plan first

Dr. Karbasi maps the movement stage by stage, so you see the finished position before the first tray is worn.

03

Wear them, then keep them

Trays come out to eat and to brush. Retention is planned in from the start, not treated as an afterthought.

A Patient Story

Thank you for placing your trust in us.

A finished case is the end of a process that starts with a conversation. We share these moments because they say more about the practice than any description could.

If you are considering treatment, the first visit is a look and a discussion. Nothing begins until you understand the plan.

The Patient Experience

Four visits into
a long relationship.

Most people who come to us have put a visit off at some point. We plan around that. Here is what working with the practice looks like.

Before You Book

Questions we
hear most.

If something isn’t covered here, call the office. The front desk would rather answer it before your appointment than after.

“There’s no such thing as a silly question here. If it’s on your mind, we’d rather talk it through.”

The Reston Heights Dental team
01

Do you work with my insurance?

We file with the major dental plans shown above and verify your benefits before treatment is scheduled. Coverage and eligibility are set by your insurer, so we confirm the details rather than estimate them.

02

Will I be referred out for gum treatment or implants?

Usually not. Dr. Saqqal is a periodontist in the practice, so specialty gum care and implant support are handled here, alongside the rest of your treatment.

03

I get anxious at the dentist. What are my options?

Tell us before we begin. Appointments are paced for comfort, and sedation dentistry is available for longer or more involved visits.

04

How early can I be seen?

Our hours are Mon – Tue: 7AM – 7PM / Thu: 7AM – 7PM / Fri: 8AM – 4PM, which suits patients who would rather not take time out of the workday.

05

What happens at a first visit?

A look, a conversation and a set of records. You leave knowing what we found, what it means and what we recommend. Nothing is started that day unless you want it to be.

New Patients

Schedule your first visit.

Tell us a little about what you need and we will find a time that works, including early weekday mornings. Nothing is started until you understand the plan.
